I had my first party last night. We had 9 people and about $450 in sales. I also had three people book from that party (one couldn't make it, but wanted a party of her own and the other two wanted to buy too much stuff!). We had so much fun - I had lots of things to play with and people wanted pretty much everything I passed around. There were a couple of people with no kids and they were some of my biggest buyers.
I was a bit stressed about it, but as it turns out, I'm so excited about the products that I had no problem sharing them with other people and getting them excited, too. It also felt good... I knew when I signed on that we had great products, but it was nice to know other people agree...
So I wasn't really excited about doing parties, but I had fun and won't mind doing it again... Thanks for all the advice I got on here (directly and indirectly) - it helped me plan out what I wanted to say/do.
