Hi everyone I am new on the board. I am looking to join a candle company. So far I am really only interested in Scentsy, Gold Canyon and Pink Zebra does anyone know more about these companies? Is it better to wait until after the holidays?

Oh I should add I am leaning very heavily towards scentsy but want to explore them all further before I commit

Have you ever tried a Mia Bella candle?? We have an excellent product line. Our candles are natural wax candles with an incredible scent throw... and we also have the "wickless" option too (melts and simmer pots)... best of both world's. We have the highest retial profits that I've seen in the industry (@50% on most items, and no minimum to reach to get that high of profit margin). Also... you don't have to wait to get paid the following month on your retail like many of the others I've seen. You buy at your distributor price, and sell at retail.. the difference is your profit. :)

If you sign up before the holidays you will have your kit by christmas and will be able to share your new venture with your family. I know when I originally signed up I was pulling out the testers with my sisters and scents we like/disliked. It is so fun sharing how different scents bring up different memories. Who knows....it may even get you your first orders :)

There are so many companies to choose from :) The one thing piece of advice I can give you is this: choose the company you will be most passionate about. If you are passionate about your products, your customers will be too. :)

When I decided on For Every Home, I took my top 3 based on products I liked....then I looked at the other things that were important to me..... sales quotas, monthly fees, credit card processing, how consultants are paid etc......

With regard to your question about when the best time is to join a company, my response would be... When YOU are ready is the best time!
I know you have already had several Scentsy consultants pm you info. Enjoy your journey of research and getting to know what your options are. What an exciting time for you ;)

I just wanted to say, best wishes to you in your decision. I know over 5 years ago when I made mine I never dreamed where it would take me. The candle industry is a wonderful home business to be a part of.

I just started selling for scentsy and I absolutely love it. They sell the wax warmers which really appeals to alot of families because there are no flames so it is safer to use with children. They have a wide variety of products available such as plug in outlet warmers and scentsy buddies (scented stuffed animals) for children.
I really enjoy them because there is no required quota to sell per month. Also, they are going to begin selling their own line of lotions, shower gels, laundry whiffs and dryer disks and fondue chocolate warmers. Then they are announcing another new company in July, It's a great time to sign!

All of our Fragrances are made by one of our owners and they are unique to Eclipse. All Candles and Melts including Body Melts are hand poured here in the USA. Our Room/Auto sprays are also US made!!
We have a new product line Called ECC Believes, All net proceeds from the products in this line goes to 3 amazing charities. ECC believes in giving back. We are a Faith based company, based in Corpus Christie TX.

I have to tell you that I have never experienced a company like Pink Zebra Home! Through the years I have been involved with many different companies, but none of them compare to Pink Zebra.

Since the company opened it's doors in September 2011 to the direct sell market, we have Boomed! Our products are safe for the home as they are soy and not Parraffin which is made from Petroleum. No matter what, we want safe products in our home environment around our children and loved ones.

The compensation plan is like no other and you Keep your Commission up front! No you don't send every penny in and wait on a check from corporate, you can use it right now! This to me says that the company doesn't need My Money to operate! I get to work and get paid all month!

I never did decide to go with any.. My area just worried me with it's size and number of consultants in the area, and the startup costs involved delayed me. :) I am looking into other companies right now including Perfectly Posh, and 31. I just want to make the right choice for me.

Thats the best thing you could do; find what works best for you and to not be pressured into something that isn't. May I make just one suggestion? Once you narrow down a couple of companies that you like you could always host a party and see what kind of response you get. If for example you have a smash success Scentsy party then that tells you right there that you will do well with Scentsy and it doesnt matter how many consultants are in the area. They might not even be very active consultants and you could win new loyal customers. Don't let fear stop you from trying because then you will never find out what could be.
