I think the business is great - as I said in my other post - I think being under the best upline is major. Lets pretend you were "interviewing" your upline. You know what you know now, and are able to ask the questions you think are really important to know about the team you want to join. What would you ask now? What do you think you have received from your upline that has made an impact or what do you wish you did have or was different?

I'm not looking for a sponsor, I'm just looking for what would be the important questions to ask at the beginning (when you usually don't know enough to know what to ask). Yes, I'm trying to learn from your experience and knowledge - that's why I think forums are the best thing since sliced bread. I hope at some point I will have the answer to a questions you may ask.

If I could do it over again, I would ask if they are still willing to help and train someone no matter what investment they come in at. Ya' know, match effort for effort. I think this answer will shed alot of light on their approach to the business and what they will do for you since your efforts will be paying them.

Questions I would ask...I'll probably think of more:

~Basics....how long with the company, income, team size, growth, how they got into @rbonne,etc. I don't necessarily think that any of these things say that someone is or isn't a great sponsor. It is good to just find out a little about them. It will also let you see how they view their own business and team members.

~Any questions you have about the specifics of the business...compensation plan, bonuses, training, etc.

~Why should I join your team?

~What type of training is there that is specific toyour line? Doyou have team training calls, emails groups, meetings, etc?

~What areyou personally doing every day/week to growyou business?

~What are your personal and team goals?

~How doyou runyour business(parties? result approach?let's go shopping? one-on-ones?)and how doyou expectme to runmy business? Areyou okay ifI choose to run mybusiness differently?

~How do you feel about inventory? (Do NOT let them tell you that you must have x amount of dollars of inventory to start!)

~How much money do I REALLY need to invest to start this business?

~How do you help your team members stay motivated when they feel stuck or discouraged?

~How many hours a week doyou put into their job? How busy are you?

~How long does it typically take you to return an email or a phone call from someone on your team?

~Ask if you can have the names and emails of a couple of people on their team. Contact them and ask them aboutwhat the team dynamic is like.

Hopw that helps some!

Best of luck!

These are great ideas already. I would also add:

How often do you (the nvp/rvp) communicate info from corporate? (My team doesn't at all - such as back order info, stop sell, new qualification program info, etc. I find that all out here.)

Do you train on the comp plan?

I would say just have conversation. Get a feel for who they are & what their motives are and make sure they are inline with yours.

Thank for responding! I just wanted to have the questions in my head before I asked them!
