I recently dropped off an RE9 sample and when I followed up with the person, she told me that she couldn't use anything with fragrances. I told her that the "fragrance" was from the orange oil and she said she couldn't use anything with oils. That struck me as a little odd so I'm wondering if anyone else on the board has come across that.
I've looked at some of our other products and there's some type of "oil" in the AI cleanser, rej cm, etc.......
Any thoughts on how to handle this? I assured her that our products are hypoallergenic but it seems like she may be a little close-minded to them....

One of my best friends who was the 2nd person I gave an re9 too had a severe allergic reaction to one of the botanical oils in the re9 products. I mean it looked like she had stuck her head in a fish fryer. I was mortified, I thought I had ruined her forever. She got medical help and thank the lord there was no scarring or anything. Whew..
Anywho, her derm. said it was some of the oils in the product that caused the reaction, so if she is that cautious maybe she knows what could happen..haha.

hypoallergenic: Having a decreased tendency to provoke an allergic reaction
This doesn't mean that people who are allergic or sensitiveto certain things can use our products. Candace explains this in detail in the University training modules.

I guess it just struck me as odd since it would seem to me that most products would contain SOME kind of oil. And...she uses some "supermarket" brands that I would think would be worse than A***.

Yep, it's odd for people to be allergic to
oils" but there is an allergy for everything! I have one who's allergic to parabens which pretty much cuts out anything.
If the person is sensitive to allergies then have them try the products on a small patch for several days. You want to do it on the upper part of the arm on the under side.
