View Full Version : I'm desperate for an at home phone job!

Hello, this is my first post here so hopefully I put this in the correct area. I want an at home phone job. I am not picky and have an open schedule. Do any of you know who is hiring. I would love to start work asap. I have 12 years customer service/sales experience. I am located in Texas. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Hi Jasjas,

There are lots of work at home positions listed in this section of the forum and new ones are added every day. Many are customer service related.

I'd recommend searching this section of the forum and apply for as many things as you can. Your 12 years of customer service/sales experience should help big time.

someone just posted they got hired on with Alpine Access ..They are a legit company ..and from what I have heard good to work for. -)

I just got hired through West at Home. Maybe the are still hiring.

There are alot of legit at home customer service or phone sales jobs. Just keep searching and asking questions!

A lot of top retail companies are now outsourcing, including, Pizza Hut, American Express, GE Electric, Enterprise Car Rental, Teminex, AT&T, HSN (Home Shopping Network), Directv and many others.

Some of them have location restrictions but most are wide open as far as territory. Good luck!

There are definitely jobs out there that are over the phone jobs. You have an advantage of prior experience over the phone which is a quality that many people lack, including myself :) Practice helps me get better with my nerves of calling strangers but you should have a really easy time once you find your perfect business match as I have.

Thanks so much for all the tips! I have my third interview Monday with West at Home for American Express. I'm so excited but nervous because they want me to present to the a cold calling skit with a product I am knowledgeable about. I have no idea what I am going to talk about or how to present it so We will see what happens. I will let you all know how the interview goes. Thanks again!
