My wife and I are moving to a new city in about five weeks. Any ideas on how we should start growing our business from the start, literally?

Have an open house when you are settled!

If you are buying a house- maybe your realtor will give you some contacts? If you are renting- your landlord/super? What about joining the Chamber of Commerce right away and get active in their functions? Join a local church, join any organizations. You'll just have to concentrate on meeting people, have fun with it! Don't push Arbonne too hard right off the bat. You are looking to start relationships at first, the Arbonne will come. I forget which VP's story I read that said she moved to a new area- went to church and met a lady who scheduled a presentation and that one presentation was all she needed to get her business moving because she got so many bookings from that one.

I don't know if the PP was referring to RVP Stephanie Frost, but that is basically her story. She moved to TX not knowing anyone and made RVP in seven months. She met people at church and her business took off from there.

I have also just moved to a new town. I'm waiting for my puppy dogs to come in so I can get started but I plan on talking to my 2 neighbors and getting at least 5 referrals from each. Since I am kinda relying on them to get me started I will probably give them a hand cream or some other gift for giving me 5 or more names.

Let me know if you come up with any other ideas and good luck with your business!

My wife and I are visiting our new city today. I am at work (using the computer is okay) and she is scouting out the sites. We are excited about out move. I am a preacher/chaplain; so I will probably not approach the people at church. However, there are many opportunities, I am sure. I "see" great things. My daughter got us in this business, and she is doing very well.
