I am wanting to get with my church to do a Spa Escape. I'm trying to decide how to approach the pastor's wife and want to have some kind of flyer to give her that she can post on the bulletin board along with a calendar beside it with the day we are doing it and hours posted below where people can assign theirselves a time slot to come during that day.

I'll probably hold it on a Saturday and hold the spa to 8 ladies at a time slot. I will put on the flyer "Space is limited...please reserve your time today!"

I will explain to her that this will enable ladies from the church to get to know each other better, make new friends, relax and enjoy themselves and anything they purchase I will donate a portion back to the church for letting me hold it.

What could I call this function or outing for the ladies? Also, how can we say it's ladies only...no men or children since we want to relax...

How many hours should I stay there? Should I book the 8 ladies in a 30, 40 or 60 minute time slot?

Advise?

I vote for 90 minute or 60 minute. You'll want time to do the ESCAPE, take the orders and then get set up for the next shift.

When I did the business office recently (70 employees) we did them one hour and 15 minutes apart. This was perfect and only "tight" one time when we had to shoo everyone out to get ready for the next shift.

It helps if you have another consultant (great training for new peoplea and prospects) help you but it sure isn't a requirement.

Our director did some churches last year and had a Biblical theme to go along with it. I'll email her and see if she still has that outline/script. Could give you an idea of something to call it.

Let you know before Monday.

I've emailed her and will let you know when she responds. She's not as prompt on some responses so I don't know how long it will be.

Ok,

I got the information.

If you want it - then here's how to get it.

Email me at my email address (not the PM please) and in the subject line, put "Church groups information" and I'll know what file to attach for you.

my email is my name dora locklear (no spaces) at comcast (dot) and then net

HOpe that makes sense, I wrote it out like that to confuse spiders that scan these message boards and pick up our emails.
