Give me your best answer for when you tell someone you are having a Spa Escape and they ask you the question above...
Thanks!

Show them the picture of the ladies with eye pads in your flip cards. It is easy to keep in your purse and tell them I set the mood with candles and Spa music, you and a few friends just relax and get pampered for an hour.

"A 30-40 minute relaxation experience held in yoru home or office. You relax and renew while you learn destressing techniques and sample our most popular spa treatments. It's like brining theday spa to you and your friends or co workers."
I agree with using the images in the flip chart.

The flip chart would work if you are face to face with someone...but I was talking about if I was chatting with someone over the phone.
I think Dora answered though...

Every one of us should have a "30-second Commercial" that we can use at the drop of a hat in any circumstances or situation.
That was mine that I shared with you.

They still aren't sure when I tell them this...it sounds like it's boring or that I'm going to try to sell them something even though I tell them it's complementary.
Maybe they aren't thrilled with taking time off to learn how to de-stress or they aren't getting the whole picture here. It's kind of like I feel like they are thinking..Oh, so I'm going to learn to de-stress...that's not fun"
What else can I tell them where it peaks their interest and sounds like fun and they've got to come and check it out.
I've yet for one of them just to give me their mailing addy without asking me what a spa escape is (now I'm calling these people over the phone to get the address) and then when I tell them they get to try spa treatments and de-stress, relax, have some "me" time...it's like I get a silence on the other end of the line..
Can anyone help here? What have you told people over the phone prior to mailing out the invites about what you are doing?

Andrea,
I am going to send you the hostess script that can be found on your webpage under host a party. It is one that I have used in the past.
It is hard to explain, but you need to romance the idea of a night out away from husbands, cellphones and kids. Leave your troubles at the door. Focus on yourself having a much deserved time out with the girls.
Let me know if the script helps!
