I don't think this has been posted yet but there is actually a decent endorsement for the RE9 set in the June issue of Oxygen magazine (more than was in Fitness magazine a few months back). I've never seen this magazine before but it looks like a fitness type of magazine also. It'sonthe bottom of page 51 and is endorsed by Laurie Vaniman who is a fitness model. I tried to scan it but can't figure out how to get it into the post. If anyone knows how let me know and I'll do that. The article says:
"If you love the idea of looking younger but shudder at the thought of surgery, we have just the thing for you. The antiaging line is called NutriMinCRE9 by Arbonne, and each product is hypoallergenic and extensively tested on human volunteers. Each product is carefully made without animal products or by-products, mineral oil, dyes or fragrances. Fitness model Laurie Vaniman swears by it, saying "I began using Arbonne's revolutionary antiaging skin-care line - NutriMinCRE9 - about eight months ago and my skinhas never looked better. And I'm definitely a skeptic when it comes to skin care."
There's also a picture of 4 pieces of the RE9 set. A friend of mine saw the article and pointed it out to me so I got the magazine. I figure it will be good to show people at classes and 1 on 1s.

I guess I am just surprised that the articles are allowed to use the @rbonne name and pictures when WE aren't even allowed to. Is there a different legally?

I am sure they have to get permission from arbonne first, unlike many consultants who take it upon themselves and then in turn give out wrong info. (Oprah, all-natural, curing cancer, etc) It is easier to control what is put in magazines than thousands of consultants.

And I am sure they are loving the fact that it is free advertisement. I also found an article in the Women's Health and Fitness magazine from February 2006. It talks about the RE9 Hydrating wash.

I'm so glad you mentioned this - is Arbonne not all-natural? My upline has always told me we were allowed to say all-natural because the products have less than 1% preservatives, but I've still always been a bit uncomfortable with saying that, becausewhen I look at the ingredient lists lots of stuff comes from "science," it seems like... What's the official stance?

So we do have chemicals in the products, just not as many as other companies?
Sorry, I just never got this straight!I always thought all our stuff was almost completely botanical, and that the "science" part mostly meant how the botanicals were engineered towork in the products, like the nanospheres from plants that are infused with vitamins and stuff...smileys/smiley1.gif

Go to Product Knowledge in Internet Consultants part of our website and also go to University, all the training that home office provdes explains that we are NOT all-natural.

I think we have to be careful about how we promote arbonne and saying it's "all natural" because it isn't.
I had an aquaintance that I was approached about Arbonne who had just been to a class (not one of mine) and she liked it but went to tell her friend about it thinking she would really like it too because she is into all natural products. When my friend showed her what she bought, her friend pointed out some of the ingredients and then showed her what she uses which is truly all-natural and told her that arbonne is not. My friend felt like she had been taken.Long story short her friend did not want to try arbonne and my friend got a "bad taste in her mouth for arbonne" because of the way the consultant promoted it and led everyone to believe it was all natural. I straightened her out and explained what arbonne was and she felt better about it but had that not happened she would have thought arbonne was misrepresenting it's products.

OK, thanks so much for clearing that up for me!! I've been a consultant for over a year now, and my upline's alwayssaid we were all-natural, and I guess I just trusted them... I've listened to a bunch of AU and learn and burn and product knowledge trainings, but I just always figured that the ingredients they were talking about could somehow be obtained from natural sources, or if they were obviously chemicals, I thought they must just be present in such trace amounts that they weren't significant. Boy, just goes to show you that you shouldn't mindlessly believe everything you're told! smileys/smiley9.gif
Thanks a lot guys!! I really appreciate your help!

I can't remember what magazine it was, but my upline was so excited about being "Featured" in a magazine. Well..... it was not a feature, it was advertisement from a consulant who paid for a full page ad in a cosmentic magazine. That's a far cry from being "Featured".
