I find after an hour I need to stop or things start getting sloppy. I think after about four hours (with breaks) I'm done for the day. I've only been transcribing for a few months, but I am trying to increase my endurance if you will. I would like to become a court reporter and I would definitely have to sit longer than an hour at a time :p

I tend to work for an hour and take a break for 5-15 minutes. That break may be to the bathroom, to the kitchen, to play with the dog, or to check on Facebook. :p I usually do six to eight hours of actual typing a day counting breaks. Some days though a deadline or bad audio requires more. If I am planning to work more than eight hours, I usually take a 30-45 minute nap in there somewhere. I find it keeps my brain fresher.
My endurance has definitely improved since switching to this as my main job. Good luck to you on all your future plans.

I go for an hour, then take a short break.

ditto above. Whether I need it or not, after an hour of sitting here I take a break. Sitting here for hours is not good for your back, legs, eyes, and sanity. It may only be a few minutes, but it's necessary.
When I started, I used to break my audio up into smaller chunks that would take me approximately an hour to do. When that file was done, I would get up and stretch.
6-8 hours a day is enough for me...including breaks.

I find that I can transcribe for about 1 1/2 hr before I need a significant break (at least half an hour). My eyes just stop co-operating.
