I'm already getting a small mountain in my backroom :D I'm probably going to recycle them, but I was wondering what you do with these boxes from our orders! Always looking for ways Reuse something!

You can always post them on craiglist for free or low cost. I know they are very sturdy boxes and great for moving or organizing stuff.

What a great idea! I know I always see people asking/looking for boxes, and every time I've moved it's been a pain finding them! As for a Fort Box, I just ordered a new mattress and it came in a box, weird I know but it was memory foam so it fit, and it's made a wonderful "house" for my son LOL. He even shuts the doors (flaps) for me to knock on :D Gotta love kids

I recycle them, but I'm also thinking of offering them to someone for free on Craiglist. Just gotta be careful about that in NYC. I always get a bunch of crazies lol.

NOT on Craigs list

On FREEcycle.org I list them as FREE Avon boxes great for storage / moving

They are always gone in the same day I post and I always put a book in with the boxes :)

When my kids were smaller they always come up with creative ways to use the boxes. Now I just toss them. I refuse to keep them in my house. I may try the freecycle...thanks Bonnie.

I hate putting them in the recycle bin.... Freecycle if you are unfamiliar with it, everything posted is totally free... just pick it up!

Ive actually gotten a rep just from posting my boxes!

For a while I was giving them to a customer (now DL member) so she could use them to organize her storage unit. Keep everything the same. Sure helped my mom when she was moving to have a lot of boxes all the same size.

Now I give them to our local Food Pantry to use for delivering food to families in need.

Well, the ones I manage to save from my 8 yr old daughter who loves to color on them and cut them up!

Last Halloween one of my grandsons used them to make a robot costume, now I just put them out by my front door, customers who pick up their orders ask for them or I put them on Freecycle if I have way too many.

The only ones that go into the recycle bin are the book boxes (smaller)

i sometimes keep these boxes to send out Returns to Avon. When i have lot of them then i recycle those but they are really strong enough to hold up heavy things. My Father has few of those boxes and he keeps all his tools inside .

With high sales at this time of year, we seem to get more and more boxes, hahaha. When it gets really bad, I just leave them on my front porch, post them on freecycle, let me customers know "help yourself"

Those that dont get taken, I recycle

I absolutely love the Avon boxes!! I use them for storage and for saving things to go to Goodwill. I also use them to sort all of my craft stuff.

I give mine to friends who have a business re-selling items on eBay.

You can also post on FB community garage sale pages.

Yes, Bonnie's suggestions got me thinking about the FB groups I'm in. Was going to post on them once I have this order sorted out and delivered! Thanks for all the great suggestions everyone, and Bonnie love the idea of giving a book out with the boxes. Don't know that I would have thought of that myself..... well, eventually, but not until I'd missed a lot of potential clients!

Thats what I like about groups like this...

They give us new ideas to sort through - things we may not have thought of by ourselves
