I am looking for a new design for my web store header.


I used a stock one that was available from the store creator site and would like to "upgrade".


The store is "The Lily Pad Children's Boutique". I love something with the theme of a Princess kissing a frog & lily pads. I am not crazy about a cartoonish theme.


Any ideas? Anyone here do that?

My names Mark and I could make you a header, I have a few suggestions... If I was to make you a header I wouldmake it not so wide so It would make the website more accessible, about 750px is perfect. this way you won't need to use the bottom scroll bar to see the whole of your web site.


I use a 1024x768 screen resolution and I still have to scroll, about 80% of people use this resolution but there is still a few using 800x600px. they would have to scroll a lot.


I think that I could make you a nice professional header, somthing like a picture of a sunny pond with lillys that blends into your text, If we can find a photo of a princess kissing a frog we could incorporate that somewhere as well!


I'll also do it for free if you could put a link to www.internise.com (http://www.internise.com) on your website.

Carey: I LOVE that graphic. Do you have any idea how I would contact the creator? That would be absolutely perfect!


Mark: I would definately be interested in you doing the header for me. I assume that you have visited the site to see what I have. I love the image posted by Carey if we can some how get it to use. It is pretty much exactly what I am looking for. I do like the way my company name is in the one I have now but if you have other suggestions that is fine too. I am going for something a little more upscale, not cartoonish at all.


Now I just need a good tagline to add with the Princess kissing a frog theme somehow relating to children's clothing and such.

Mark, I also meant to add that I would be more than happy to link your company for the work.

No problem :) thanks for the link, I have had another look at the avatar and I can't see any reason whywe can't use it in your header.


It just says no hot linking, there's not a terms page either.


I'll make sure your company name stands out and looks professional although I'm not sure about the slogan/tagline... its a tricky one :)


I'll make a start now and see whatI can come up with, justlet me knowwhen you have your slogan.

Is this going in the right direction?, what else would you like on the design, I tried to stick to your web sites current colour scheme.


I can change any part of this so tell me exactly how you want it, different font, lighter, darker etc.
