I am new to all this finding a freelance job online. I went back to school and really need to find some work and wanted it to be in my field of computer graphics. I notice that everybody has so many work samples to provide and I really don't have many or maybe I'm just being a little to picky about them. I only have the items that I have done in school so far as projects because I get so busy during the year with school, family, etc...
The other thing that I don't understand is the whole bidding thing on some freelance websites. For example, this website has bidding and I don't know how it works. Here is the address: http://www.getafreelancer.com/
If anybody can help me understand all this stuff that is new to me and maybe suggest what I can do about my lack of samples, please let me know. I will take any advise possible. I would really like to find a job in this related field while I'm out of school for the summer instead of, once again, finding a job that doesn't relate to anything that I am interested in.
