I have been trying to change my wp content folders permission from 0705 to 0755
I can change it to 0701,0707,0700,0704 but no 0755. Any sugestions?
I use Godaddys cpanel. this is the way it looks now

(x)read write (x)execute
owner permission
(x)read (x)write (x)execute

how are you trying to change it, via cpanel? i always use my FTP (FileZilla) program to change.

I agree with ChefBek, an FTP program would be the easiest way to change this. But, if not, you should be able to contact GoDaddy support and have them do it for you.

To change the permissions in Filezilla, first log into your sever. Next, right-click on the folder you want to change and choose "File Permissions", you will see a box with options for setting Read, Write and Execute permissions for that folder. "777" means "Owner, group and public All have read, write, and execute permissions" so you can either tick all the boxes, or enter "755" in the Numeric Value box.
To have the new permissions to be applied to files and/or folders inside the folder you selected, make sure you tick the "Recurse into subdirectories" box.

It's easy to do with filezilla ftp software.
