I'm just wondering if anyone sells their own creations through home parties? I make purses and I'm thinking of doing home parties.

I don't see any reason why not!

I know people who sold other things and made up a party plan, so go for it!

Thanks Debbie!

BTW...I love your newsletter!

I don't want to do anything too large, just sell what I am making myself by doing home parties. Right now I have purses and flip flops. (what more could a woman want?smileys/smiley36.gif)

I have done really well selling through a consignment shop so I figured the more exposure the better I will do!

You should try some small craft fairs, like a schools, or mulitple vendor shows (usually at someone's house). From there you can talk to people and see if anyone wants to host a show at their house.

Thanks, I have done fairly well with craft fairs so far! The multiple vendor sounds great!!

Find other consultants in your area (mary kay, cookie lee, tupperware and tell them that you'd be interested in participating in multi-vendor shows. When I started with Signature Homestyles, I called my cookie lee rep and told her what I was doing. She said, "As a matter of fact...I have a fair at my daughter's school in May. Can you make it?!" You never know!
