Does any one know of companies that hire WAHMs for handwriting jobs? It seems like I remember seeing a post once about companies that hire folks to write letters from Santa, etc.

I made past suggestions like that in a prior thread a while back:
Are you asking about Calligraphy? I don't recall seeing any handwriting type jobs posted, but you can always search this section of the forum. Also, with the holidays coming up, what about hand written letters from Santa? Maybe there are sites that do that, or it's something you could do on your own for some holiday cash?
I'd recommend searching this section of the forum, and also search Craigslist and other places online.

I'm thinking of hand writing a proposal to deliver to local businesses to offer my services for this. I'd like to get some feedback before I do though.
What should I charge?
What time frame should I offer for contracts?
Should I include my resume or simply my proposal?
Should I hand deliver them or mail them out?
