As I have been browsing through this area of the forum, it seems like most of the jobs are for customer service type work with a set schedule.
Any suggestions on jobs that let you work on your own schedule, at your own pace? I have dogs (noisy) and have some health issues, so I am looking to do something when I can do it - sometimes I might be up late at night, other days I am up early in the morning.
Anyone else in a similar situation?

Have you thought about being an Independent Contractor. I work for Send Out Cards, but work isn't the real word. You are an Independent Contractor and because you are not an employee you and works strictly on your own schedule. Of course that means you have to build your business, not get a guaranteed check. If something like that interests you, PM me.

There are a few options for work at your own pace non-phone work. If you have an interest in writing it is a great alternative. You can check out the writing forum here:
Writing: Freelancing - WAHM Forums - WAHM.com (http://www.wahm.com/forum/writing-freelancing-46/)
Also transcription is another option depending on your typing speed and grammar. There is a transcription folder at wahm here:
Transcription Services & Scopists - WAHM Forums - WAHM.com (http://www.wahm.com/forum/transcription-services-scopists-55/)
Other than those two you can always check out mTurk there are many small tasks that can be done there that add up quite well. Then there is CrowdCloud and Clickworker. They both list small tasks that you can get paid to do. There were also a few people that were making okay money answering math test questions at Slader, if you have a knack for math.
HTH :)

Independent Contracting, Transcription, and Writing are all good suggestions. Transcription would involve getting some training and Techincal Writing is a growing work at home field.
Most jobs though are going to require some set hours.
