Position Description:
Perform research and input findings into an online database.
Ideal Profile:
Paralegal or recent Law School Graduate living in the Washington, DC Metro area who is an excellent online researcher, can dedicate 20 or more hours per week to the position and who wants to supplement their income.
Position Requirements:
- Research Associate will need to be very proficient at finding relevant information on the web
- Experience using commercial legal databases such as Westlaw, Lexis and PACER
- Must be extremely anal and meticulous; the data being researched and input into the database must be 100% accurate
- Must be very organized; the work requires a methodical process that must be followed
- Punctuality is imperative
- Good communicative skills (both verbal and written) are necessary to keep Partners informed and to stay on track
- Independent and honest work ethic; must be able to adhere to a work-from-home schedule without interruption and to pace oneself
- PC with a fast processor, Internet and Printer required
