Anyone know if it is okay to use the F8 products with thyroid issues?

As always, I would give them the product knowledge/ingredients sheets and have them consult withtheir doctor. Edited by: cassandra

Excellent advice (for her to ask her Dr.) - I am hypothyroid. My Dr has oked most of our products for my needs but has said no to a couple.Often times Dr's that treat for ongoing things will even let you just fax in info instead of having to make an appt. just for that.

My mom has thyroid problems and does the Figure 8 line. Every doctor is different though. I do agree to check with your dr. first though.

Sportsmom -- I'm hypothyroid too -- on Synthroid, low dose of 75mcg, but on it for a few years now.
Out of curiousity, which products did your doctor nix? I'm very apprehensive about the supplement...I've used it only twice. I am going to bring it all in for my doc to chk out, or fax'g (great idea) this month.
Feel free to PM or email me if you don't want to post here (purelybeneficial@yahoo.com).
Thanks -- Sarah
BTW, all that being said -- I've used the shakes and have lost weight...something that's not always easy w/ a lazy thyroid! :) I *highly* recommend the F8 line!!!!!!!
