Hello. I am interested in making and selling candles, but I don't know what companies out there are legit. I found acompany who sells their recipe and then buys back the product. The company is Designer & Aromatherapy Candles.
Does anybody work for them or know if they are a scam? If they are is there another company out there who teaches you how to make candles and buys them back? Thanks.

Hi! Do they have a website or anything? I tried to search but didn't come up with anything..
I'm just wondering, what's in it for the company to sell the recipe and buy it back. That's a good thing to think abt when trying to flush out a scam. kwim?
Also, a good place to look for advice on checking out companies is in the telecommuting section under "First Stop for Newbies". (like checking with BBB, local Chamber of Commerce, etc...)
Good luck!

No problem..
One thing that strikes me is that they use a po box. Another thing is the fee and that they'll buy the candles back "if they meet the standards", which is smart from a company point of view, but kinda gives them an out to NOT buy the candles back.
They are not registered with the BBB and they have had one complaint filed.
If it were me, I'd probably research on the internet on how to make candles and then experiment in my kitchensmileys/smiley4.gif
Good luck to you!!
