Hi everyone,
My name is Dora and I'm new to the board as a member. I've been kind of lurking for a day or two. Ilove the atmosphere here and the topics of discussion and decided to join the party.
I've been in BC since 1989 and I'm a DIQ as of May 1st. I've been up and down in this business while it adapted to what was happening in my life. Since Jan06 - I've been up, up, up and continuing to climb. I see no end in sight :)
Right now I'm having tremendous success with SPA@Work programs and I'm working on my goal of bringing the ESCAPE experience to 1000 women in our area before Celebration. (Don't worry-my TEAM is helping me with the goal and we are already 475+)
I live in NW GA but was born and raised near Savannah (SE Ga)
I'd like to request that each of you introduce yourself and say where you are from (I saw that there are a few from GA and I'd like to know how close you actually are)
I'm glad to be here and look forward to exchanging ideas/success with each of you.

Thank you everyone for your warm welcome and congrats.
Most of all - thank you for participating in the roll call so I could learn who you are and get a better feel for the locations. I'll make a point to register myelf on the frappr map later today once I get back from my Spa@Work.
Make it a marvelous May!

Leslie,
Do you know Robin Mansfield? She's in the Grovetown area and she and I go way back :)
I'm also fond of Robbie Howard and a few other successful ladies over there in your neck of the woods.
And are you planning on attending the meeting with Pat Taylor in Atlanta next Monday evening?

Dora,
None of those names sound familiar to me, they must not be under the same director. I'm under Joyce Shuford and soon to be under Tonya Lane when she completes her DIQ!! I'm not going to be able to attend the meeting in Atlanta either, but if you are I would love to hear back from you on that!
I'm still relatively new and trying to find my niche...LOL! I guess I'm a little slow at adapting. I'm still considering going to Celebration though...these ladies make it sound so wonderful!
Thanks,
Leslie

If you're planning on attending Celebration - you better get to registering....I heard they only have 120 spots left. A month ago it was only 500 spots left.
Let me ask you the following questions.
What do you want from this business?
WHY are you doing this business?
If the answer to either of those indicates that you want to excell in selling and move up in leadership - then let me encourage you to make a committment and attend Celebration because THAT experience is the single, most propelling event that will influence your business. If you have goals to grow and its more than just 'talk' then you can't afford not to go. JMO
See you there :)

That is great that there are so few seats left! I better tell a recruit of mine that. She really wants to go.
Did they cap it at 5000 this year too? I thought I heard that the Texan was going to allow more space, etc. Seems like the rooms are no problem.

Don't know about the cap....but the Gaylord has been sold out since Easter.
I was VERY pleased to see them only allow room reservations for those who actually HAD a Celebration reservation and only 1 room per consultant. This will help cut down on people reserving blocks of rooms (just in case) and then cancelling a week before....... whichputs people having a room at another hotel and then there being empty rooms during the conference.

Dora,
I am in Warner Robins, Georgia and I will be in Atlanta on Monday to meet with Pat Taylor.
Georgia is a great state and growing fast. I have not heard of much going on in Southern Georgia, mainly Middle and North.
I am headed to Savannah for the weekend tomorrow. I am hoping for great weather, we have family coming in from Missouri.
Have a blessed week and I hope your Spa@ work goes well.

Hi there@
My name is Angie. I joined BC at the end of April. I went to BeautiU
April 29th, so I am now an independent consultant. I am in Omaha,
Nebraska.
I didn't know there were so few spots left for Celebration! Does the
Texan still have room for people that are going to Celebration or would
I have to stay at a different hotel?

I'm not sure Angie about the Texan's room availability.
There are a LOT of consultants/directors that I know who have spots in their rooms....so I wouldnt rush to book a room of your own unless you have 3 other consultants of yours that you're going to recruit who will go with you.
Right now, I have a spot that is open. I have a consultant who SAYS that she is attending but isn't registered yet (think she's waiting on payday). If that space isn't filled by June 15th - I'm opening it to someone else who needs a space.

Hi everyone!
I live in Aberdeen, Maryland (grew up in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina). I am brand new to BeautiControl. My sister attended a spa in S.C. and took advantage of the consultant opportunity. I hadnever heard of BC before hearing my sister's excitement over the phone... that's all it took. Here I am! I received my kit this week and watched the DVD in the Welcome package today. I wish someone would have invited me to a spa! Maybe there aren't many (if any) BC consultants around this part of town. Hopefully that'll be changing soon!

Congratulations to both you and your Sister!
We are a helpful bunch on this board and very supportive. I am always happy to share information.
It's great to read that you already watched the DVD! It is a fabulous tool to help you get started in business before attending BeautiU.
I wish you much success in your business!
