Hello!
One of my consultants called tonight all excited! She has been volunteering at Southside Missionfor a long time. The Director called her tonight and asked if she could do a Mother's Day spa for the ladies who attend the luncheon and the staff of the Mission.
I was invited last fall to give the ladies spa treatments and they really loved it! There were no bookings or sales that came from it. There were 15 very happy ladies who were able to forget their troubles for awhile. They all felt special and cared about...the best paycheck of them all!
I am going to help her since the staff will also be invited to participate.
If there is an organization that you volunteer at, please remember those women at this time of year too. So many of them do not have anyone to appreciate them. Even if you don't walk away with a ton of sales and bookings, you have made a huge difference in their lives. Joyce tells me the ladies all wish I would come back again.
I will postafter the event to let you know how it went.

I just have to share the events that took place today! Yesterday was not a good day for me. But when a door slams shut a window or door always opens!
Joyce and I have an agreement to come in every couple months and do workshops for the Mother's Day Out club. The next one will be a 5 minute makeup session and skin care demonstration. Then we will go to health and wellness along with spa product demonstration.
Joyce booked 3 parties and I got invited to speak and demo productsat aWomen's Ministry function.
Then I get home and get a call from an organization called New Beginnings asking if I would come and teach skin care/makeup to young mothers. And do a spa night for all mothers in the coming months.
It was a very rewarding day!

That is great! I am doing a spa at a nursing home tommorrow, the residents are having a fashion show that is open to the public and I was asked to set up a display booth. I am pretty excited about it. Last week I did a group of 17 Girl Scout moms and their daughters, what a hoot of a time I had!

That sounds like a lot of fun! It's fun to do these different events.
Where in IN do you live? I live in WestPeoria, IL. That is Central, not too far from Bloomington/Normal.
