My team does a hall show to launch each new catalog! This year we are doing a Halloween themed hall show, so we are inviting guests to wear costumes (who doesn't love wearing a costume, right?).
So, as a team, we split the cost of renting the hall and each of us donate a raffle prize. Each consultant invites their own guests to come and we reserve tables per consultant. We also each bring small prizes to hand out to our guests that participate in our games, and all of us bring a portion of the large display! Its nice when you have scented products and decor because you can use your products to decorate!
We play fun music, incorporate games into our demonstration of our new products/scents and then time is left for people to order, book shows, or sign up! It's fun to do things together as a team! I always look forward to the launch of a new catalog because I get to also plan this fun event with my team! =)

Well I was thinking the "launching" of a new catalog, but realize that you were asking about the "launching" of my business! Hee hee. In that case, I have a large family and close friends, so I of course invited EVERYBODY and let them see and sample all the products I had to offer! I still played an ice breaker game (favorite scent & who or what it reminds them of) and booking games (candy bar booking game), and even a sponsoring game (Q & A questions asked by guests) because I knew my family and friends would help me tweak whatever I needed help on! It was great! I had light snacks and beverages...never overdo this! Be an example to future hosts or consultants! I had well over $700 in sales (enough to earn the Full Kit for free + earn FREE PRODUCTS with GC's Quick Start Rewards).

In July I started with a new company, another girl in my team and I had our "Launch" at a popular local Mexican Restaurant. We did have to guarantee $150 in food sales to them to get the room for free. We supplied a couple appetizers and pop, if they wanted to eat or have drinks they ordered their own. It turned out great; we had more than enough food orders to cover the room and we both sold about $500 worth of products!!! No clean up!!!
