Is this allowed with Arbonne? Also, someone I mentioned this to, said that it is considered a company vehicle and business vehicle when you advertise on it. Is this true?

Are you putting it on the mercedes? If so that is a company vehicle and that should be fine. If not the window cling they offer in the business aids as well as the license plate holder are great advertisements. Im not sure but to try to write off your car tax wise is a headache and possible red flag for the IRS......I think mileage to shows etc would be okay....I always think thats a grey area and i try to avoid that. Its much easier to claim your home office area as a deduction. Either way, I cant see how advertising a magnetic sign would automatically make it a business car.Does that mean my Ohio State sign makes me a football player? smileys/smiley17.gifJust kidding.

Hope you get it straightened out..good luck with your business

Use the windowcling that came in your start up package. If you did not get the Open Now For Business package, then you can purchase the window cling from the arbonne website.

Any sane accountant is not going to let you write your vehicle off as an expense. Mileage, yes. You should keep a record of everything you do related to Arbonne while in your car. Going to training, meetings, parties, etc. Write your starting mileage and your ending mileage for each trip. If you do happen to get audited by the IRS, this is one of the first places they will look.

Ok, I'll use my window cling. I don't want to write my car off for taxes, I just don't want to pay more for insurance if my car is considered a company vehicle if I advertise on it, or if Arbonne had a problem with me advertising on my car. The main reason I want a magnetic car sign is so that I can put arbonne, but also my contact information for advertising.

I found some very nice and very reasonable clings, magnetic signs,
window decals at this lady's website. I've seen some of her work
and it is awesome!!

I do not want to post her website addy unless I am told it's
okay. PM me, email me or catch me online if any of you want
it. smileys/smiley1.gif
