View Full Version : Making the next level

It's me again. I just posted a question about signing up and saw Cassandra's post about calling everyone and trying to get your quota to move up to the next level. I am a DM and to get here I did kind of the same thing. I had a 50% off sale and got a lot of sales this way. This along w/my business launch and one business builder got me to DM. I was wondering if it makes it harder to maintain a level when you work really hard just to get volume thru orders. I have one more month of building (when you make DM you get 2 months to build you performance acct) and then I have to maintain 2500.00/mth. volume. IfI do not of course I fall back to consultant. I'm just wondering if I should wait untilI get more business builders who are putting in their $100.00/month and them in turn finding other people to do thesame. This instead of trying to geteveryone to order soI can "make" it.I will essentially be in the same spot the next month unless I have more business builders. What I mean by wait is not worry if I drop back to consultant and just be ok w/starting over. I knowthis is kind of confusing but anyone that understands pleaseadvise.

I would not reccommend trying to go Area with only one BB on your team. Dont worry about sales, etc. Actively be looking for new BB's and your volume will come.

2500 to maintain a month by yourself is hard, but it can be done. since you already have one bb, I would say to go for it and you'll be fine. you'll pick up more bb's along the way to Area. That's when you'll need to make sure you have bb's because I don't even want to begin to imagine trying to maintain 10,000 with no bb's.smileys/smiley5.gif

Cassandra is right, it's harder but doable. I maintained DM alone for awhile but it got much easier when I found some business partners! This business was built for duplication & to not duplicate means you work harder.
You say you have one month left b/c of your performance account. I say not to give up & keep working hard to find those BP's. I know what you mean about doing things to get the volume this month just so you'll be back there the next month. I don't think that is smart b/c you can't keep doing that over & over. Now if you are only a small amount away from losing it's tha different but you can't do your entire maintenance. It's not the end of the world if you lose DM. You can get back there. Several VP's have lost district more than once.
In my opinion you should keep doing the activity, building volume without giving away the farm & looking for BP's. You can do it! Focus on the activity & helping your current BP to do thei activity.

I always pretend that I am just getting started and want to find as many business builders direct to me as I can each month. Although I support, encourage and motivate my team as much as I can, I never sit back and rely solely on their volume. I do find that I'm spending the bulk of my time helping my team find their BBs, training, and encouraging. Sometimes it's a real struggle to find the time to do the drop offs and flip charts of my own!
