I have a question. Forgive me. I am long-winded this evening!
Right now, I have a display set up at Curves because I am the business
of the month for May. It is a really great way to generate some
potential leads. When I go into workout someone always says something
to me and the ladies really stop by the table and check things out.
Last week, I booked a party for June and talked to this lady for at
least a half an hour about recruiting. The trainer there is also
thinking about doing a party because she said she loves BC's wet/dry
foundation.
Today, I went in to workout and put some different items on the table.
As soon as I began my workout, one of the ladies (a different one from
last week) asked about the Margarita foot creme. She said she was
almost out, but didn't have a consultant to buy from. Yay! enter
me..LOL She said she would think about a party too. I told her if
she books in May, I would give her the Margarita foot creme for 50% off
as an additional booking gift. She is thinking about it.
A different trainer was working and she was asking a bunch of questions
too. She had never been to a party and said she thought it sounded like
fun. She is thinking about having a party.
My question is....if you don't nail them down right then and there, is
it a lost cause or will some of them follow up? I know I will see these
ladies again so I will follow up... in the meantime, it is great
motivation for me to workout now! Ha!
Any thoughts?

I would follow up. It took me six months to sign one of my consultants. It was timing. Just be consistent and friendly!
I also have 2 hosts who have rescheduled several times and we just can't get our calendars to work. So they are taking a break and I will call them in July for my August calendar. Women are just so busy!
I always have my flip cards on my table as well as my calendar on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. That may jog their memories to look at theirs and get back to you!
