Assistant - Logistics/Supply Chain (Downtown Dallas - Work from home)

Logistics Assistant
We are a small wholesale supply company looking for a person with strong administrative skills to support the supply chain and logistics team. Position would start out part time. Applicant must be able to transition to a full time at a later date. This is a work from home position; however, will require training and meetings in downtown Dallas.
Job Responsibilities:
Place orders, set up and monitor shipments, update multiple reports daily, verify vendor invoices for accuracy. Other duties will be added as competency is shown.
Skills and Abilities:
• Must be detail-oriented with high level of accuracy.
• Must have good working Microsoft Excel skills and ability to quickly learn online system and other internet-based software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to maintain professionalism through all communication.
• Must have ability to multi-task, work efficiently, manage workload and prioritize effectively.
• Must have ability to work independently in a team environment.
Cell phone will be provided.
Hours: 20 per week, with the potential to increase to 40 hours
Pay: Starting rate $10 per hour
Location: Work from home
