This has been a very long process due to many complications, but I am proud to say that my website is done, and I can now move on to the next step in preparation of opening my doors for business! Please let me know what you think. I welcome all comments ~ good, bad, or indifferent :-)

I haven't posted in a while, but some of you may remember what a challenge this has been. Thank you to all who kept in touch as to the progress! You can view it at www.nannyconcepts.com (http://www.nannyconcepts.com) Edited by: NannyConcepts

Thank you! I still have a few things to set up before I actually open my doors, but with the website complete, everything else should fall into place quickly. Right now I am searching for a background investigation firm to use for the nannies, and then it's pretty much marketing and advertising from there! So, I'll keep you posted :-)

I work at a private preschool as a program director and we use the state DHR office to do our background investigations, and we require each applicant to pay the 49 dollar fee. Perhaps your state does these for you, call and ask.

Best of luck to you.

Hi Danette,

I love your site! It is wonderful! I also work at at private preschool. There they use the university police department to run background checks on people. That may be another option for it if you have any ties to the universities around you.

In gratitude,

Natalie

Thanks everyone!

Natalie and Steph ~ a few days ago I did finally find an investigation firm that I believe will work very well, plus they have many nanny agencies as clients. Their prices are reasonable, and they do offer many different types of screening, so I will be giving them a try.

Thanks again for all your comments!
