Hi Everyone,
I did a search for the above, but came up with nothing.
Has anyone made these ankle bracelets. The company is "Simple Craft" but part of same company as Gussie's Gifts.

I was thinking of giving it a try but could not see too much detail in the picture.

Any info would be helpful; such as what kind of knots are used.

Thank you!!:D

Unfortunately one of the companies listed on the Cash to Crafts site, "Makin' It Easy", has gotten an F from the Better Business Bureau, here is the link:

Makin It Easy - Report from BBB for a Home Assembly Job | AsembleAndEarn.com (http://assembleandearn.com/blog/2009/bbb-reports-makin-it-easy/)

I am searching around the site where I got this report, they seem to have information about home crafting companies (they don't seem to have a lot of confidence in Crafts to Cash):

Work At Home Assembly Jobs - AssembleAndEarn.com (http://assembleandearn.com/blog/)

I hate to be the bearer of any discouraging news, I would probably cry with joy if I found a legit home craft job, but I would feel bad if anyone got burned by any of these companies and I could have done something to prevent it.

Well I hate to oversee your post but I have been working for 2 of the companies on Crafts for Cash for a while now and have been approved and paid every time. So you can't always believe BBB reports. It can just be someone that didn't get approved on the first try or didn't follow directions on getting a refund or whatever the case is and then cried scam. Word of mouth is way better than those BBB listings most times.

You know, I never thought of that, you're probably right that word of mouth is more reliable than the BBB. Congrats on your gigs, glad that they are working out for you!

That's awesome to hear! Would you mind sharing some details regarding which projects you're working on? I'd love to hear more...I'm looking for projects to work on full time and would love to connect with a company that is easy to work with! Thanks in advance for any feedback and details you'd be willing to supply... :)

I would like some advice as to which one to choose as well. I was looking at the Pen Pets and the Hands on Hobbies Angel Magnets. I was laid off from my job after 13 years and am trying to be a stay at home mom for the first time and am not sure where to start. Any help would be appreciated very much.

For me the best company has been New England Crafters & The Magical Gift Company however I had been embarking on my and selling my own crafts as well. I started working for some of the companies on Crafts 4 Cash and I have been making the macrame belts, the dream catcher, and the one angel(not the one with lace). I have been paid on all of them a few times. I dropped making the angel not for any reason but that I have enough on my plate right now.

I was thinking of doing the Pen Pets thing too until I read on a WAHM thread that you have to cut the foam used for the project yourself and that it is hard to get approved for this project.

Hello,
I saw a couple of links here that pointed to Work At Home Assembly Jobs - Learn All You Need to Know (http://www.assembleandearn.com). However, some of those pages have been shifted. The link for Makin It Easy can now be found here:

MAKIN? IT EASY – Home Assembly Job Assembling Fancy Frames (http://assembleandearn.com/blog/2011/makin-it-easy-2/).

While I am on the subject, I would also like to inform you that Gussie's Gifts, Hands On Hobbies, Simple Crafts are all the same businesses.
You can check their profile as well along with feedback from other assemblers and BBB reports...

Kalas Krafts – Home Assembly Job Assembling Pen Holder Product (http://assembleandearn.com/blog/2011/kalas-krafts/),

Gussie’s Gifts – Home Assembly Job Assembling Multiple Product Choices (http://assembleandearn.com/blog/2011/gussies-gifts/),

Hands On Hobbies – Home Assembly Job Making Magnets and Ladies Belts Product (http://assembleandearn.com/blog/2011/hands-on-hobbies/),

Simple Crafts – Home Assembly Job Making An Ankle Bracelet Product (http://assembleandearn.com/blog/2011/simple-crafts/).

You will also find many other assembly craft businesses listed there.
If any of you have some experience or anything to share about any of those businesses, do kindly post your comments. It will be truly wonderful to hear some more feedback..

There is a Facebook and Twitter page also. You can use that to post your reviews as well...

I like the scrapbook and its work because it gives me relaxation and I used to work for the company 2 cash Crafts period of time, and has been approved and paid each time. So you can not always believe the BBB report. It just was not approved the first attempt, or did not receive a refund in accordance with any direction or in the case, then cried fraud. Word of mouth the way most of the time than those BBB listings.

I don't know if this is exactly how this company makes these bracelets but I found this video on YouTube for anyone that maybe wants to get an idea of how these are made.

Here's the link:
Friendship Bracelet :Heart - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIQIQ_nknKg&feature=related)

I hope it helps and maybe someone that is making them can see how accurate it is to how the company makes them. :)
