I just had to share with you guys my great news. I first want to say thank you for the board and for all the great work at home job postings you guys post here, because if not for you I would not be making $100 weekly income through ChaCha. That has been a great help to me and my family these past several months.
Now to the great news I just got hired back by my old employers, Convergys. I worked for Convergys, at their local center which is 10 minutes from my home, for 5 years up until January of this year, when I had to resign due to childcare issues. I have always known that they have a work@home program. The problem was the project I had worked on for the past 5 years was a customer service agent for the USPS, which is Gov't and secured, so I couldn't do that from my home. And Convergys work@home didn't have a opening that I could apply to, because all the ones available required that you to be within 5 to 10 miles to a call center, and the center had to offer the project you were applying for. The only projects ran from our local Convergys office is USPS and UPS, and both are secured so can't do either from home. Well now Convergys work@home has a couple of openings that don't require you to be near a local center because everything, the training, etc is all done virtually online. I signed up, took the assessments, had the interview and just got approved to do the paid training TODAY!! I am over the moon.
I loved working for Convergys and didn't want to leave, but in all things my family have to come first. I am so happy I get to go back to work with a company I trust and enjoy working for, and I get to do it in my pjs. WOOHOO!! Now I'm hoping I can start back with the $13.13 hourly pay I had when I left, but I'm not gonna hold my breath for that :)
For those interested the link to Convergys work@home is:

Just some friendly tips
1. Use Internet Explorer, it's required
2. Use a PC, Macs aren't really compatible (I know, bummer for me considering I just brought an IMac for school, and it runs way better than my PC)
3. READ the computer requirements, make sure every thing is up to par with your computer because otherwise you will fail and can be locked out from reapplying.
Thanks for letting be rant and good luck to those you are thinking of applying

I actually am using my HP laptop. It just has to pass the systems accessment that you wil have to go through, and it has to be hardwired, no wireless that's a requirement.
I have my laptop connected to a 27in tv, which I use as a monitor. Also you wil have to buy your own USB static resistant headphone/mic. I am able to use the one I purchased when I was in training with teletech for a week and 1/2.

Thanks so much.
I passed everything with me computer. I only see that they are hiring in sales. Is that what you use to do? I think that may be a hard job. What are your thoughts on this position?

Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone had an interview with Teletech within the past two weeks, I had in interview and pass the workbooth cd assessment last week, on Monday August 22, 2011 but have not heard anything since. I wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing this as well?I will love to start training as soon as possible!!!
