Anyone else?

I have very thin eyelashes and I loved the duo. The first time I used the new one - I got it all over my eyesmileys/smiley5.gif. I think it's thebrush is don't like -it's more like a comb and the duo has a fulller brush. Itgot clumpythe I put more on to get the legnth I had with the duo.My lashes still felt soft and it didn't flake or smudge -I mean itdefinately isn't the worst mascara I've ever used, but I think I like the duo better, for me anyway.

That said, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the mineral foundation andnew lipstick shades!

I have to say that I do like the old better as well. I was trying to keep my opinion to myself and keep on trying it BUT I sold 4 of them the first day they were available and I have already been contacted by 2 people wanting a refund on it. Its all about the brush it seems...

There is a method to the brush...my NVP said that Candace said this in the product knowledge training....

I don't know for sure though, I haven't listened to it.

Huh, if anyone knows about this (the brush method) fill us in as I would love to salvage these 2 sales....

I think the method to the brush is supposed to be a quick sweep.

Unfortunately, I much prefer the old mascara and I'm sorry I didn't stock
more. This new one clumps on me quite a bit. The other was fabulous.
It defined each lash while this one leaves me looking like I have about 10
lashes! I'd LOL, but it's not that funny! Overall, my lashes are fairly thick
and they curl on their own. I know most women have lashes that extend
straight out, so I was hoping this mascara might work better for them.
Maybe if we email they'll bring back the old one. Oh, and I miss the plum
color for myself, and I know a client of mine will be bummed about no
plum or navy. All she bought was the mascara in those colors. I guess I
lost her.

I really thought the old mascara was BY FAR the best I ever tried. Now it's
gone!! Bummer.

I'm worried now! Just had a new client order the mascara. I told her how much I loved mine, and I did tell her this was a brand new one and that it had changed slightly.

Why worry? Like so many things, some people will like something while others will not. Your client may LOVE it! Think positive!!

I recommend listening to the product knowledge. Different people get different things from listening/reading things. Better to take your own best points from it.smileys/smiley2.gif

Is the product knowledge online yet? I haven't been able to locate it yet. I did find the pdf file of the training from NTC but it has nothing about the brush.

I was at NTC and there was not much said about the brush. Candace Keefe
said she loved the mascara, and again, nothing more than "this is a precision
brush and can be applied with one quick sweep." There's not much I've
heard/read beyond that. It could be this type of brush that causes the
clumping. If you loved the old mascara, it's my bet you probably won't like
this one--it's a completely different look. That's not to say some won't love
it. I just want to let people know this in nothing like the old one.

I didn't like it at first. I started using it at NTC. Now I am use to the brush and I am starting to like it more and more every time... One sweep does help and when I start I wiggle it back and forth a little.. That helps too. Candy did say give it sometime so I think it helps after you get use to using it.

Hope this helps.

WOW!! I'm really surprised! I LOVE the new mascara! I apply with one quick sweep, maybe another quick sweep.. that's it!!! VERY NICE!!! I'M HAPPY!

I acutally like the new one better. With blonde eyelashes the old mascara did not seem to cover enough. The first time I tried the new one it was very clumpy. Now that I know how to use it I love it! After reading Allison's post I tried the quick sweep and it made a big difference. I was doing it too slow before and was getting too much mascara. Now it is perfect.

I love the new one too!! I have blonde eyelashes and didn't get as much coverage from the old in my opinion. Plus -- it always seemed to be an "extra" step to do the white then the color -- now its combined, its smooth and lasts with no flaking, smudging or clumping....I love it!! I've got some of the old mascara's that I ordered just in case I didn't like the new one-- if anyone wants them PM me -- I'll never go back!!!

I really love the new mascara. I did NOT like the old one--I found it didn't give me enough color or coverage. I have really long, dark lashes but got frustrated with the two step process of the old stuff. I have found that I really have to wipe off the excess mascara before I use the new brush as it comes out very thick, but once I do I can do two quick strokes on each eye and I'm done. Looks great, lasts all day, and I'm done much faster.

I just got it today and so far I really like it!!
