Hello. I am hoping some of you gals that have been at this for a while can explain what the performance account is and how it works. My whole team is a bit at a losson this (other than what is written in the manual) and we are hoping someone can help us. Thanks so much as always!

The performance account is a safety net for when you have a bad month and fall below maintenance requirements.

Whenever you reach a new level, you get a 2 month building period where all the volume you earn goes into your PA. For example, when I made DM in November, my sales from December and January, including the sales of my downline, were put into a performance account. So, in February, if I had fallen below the $2500 needed for DM maintenance, I wouldn't lose DM. Arbonne justs makes up the difference with your PA balance. You can go several months falling below $2500 as long as your PA makes up the difference. Once its gone, then you have to reach your maintenance. Also, when I went over $2500 in Feb., and every month thereafter, anything over $2500 was added to my PA.

Also, when you promote out someone to the same level as you, you get another 2 month building period so you have time to make up the difference and hopefully find someone else to take the place of the volume you will lose from your recent "loss."

Does that help?

Yes. If anyone else has anything else to add that we should know, feel free.

Thanks Barbara!

if you fall below your maintainence and have nothing in your performance account then you can keep your title for 6 months, you won't get paid on that title, but nobody will know that you demoted in webstats... you will have to requalify for the title, just as if you never had it

Just a couple of things to add, I don't know how new you are. You won't have a performance account until you promote to District Manager. Then as babara said, this is your safety account in case you don't reach your required maintenance for the month. Your maintenance is the volume you are required to have in your central each month, whether it is your central district, central area, etc. Your central is you plus anyone in your downline who has not yet promoted to the same level as you. Hope that helps! smileys/smiley2.gif

Also, you don't get paid on the volume that they have to pull from your performance account to maintain. Basically the diference between what you need to maintain and what you actually did volume wise goes into your PA. Another reason why this is a great company to bea part of!
