Due to certain regulations in several states, the name of our online customer program is "preferred customer program"smileys/smiley32.gif

Anyone adding this information to any generic website must use the words online preferred customer program andnot online retail store!

It is the same as our "shop online" but they had to re-name it. Evidently it is not allowed to call it an online retail store in some states. Kitt is excited because it sounds even better. I agree, it soundsmore like an exclusive right to purchase.

So nothing changed other than the name. You shouldreceive our email from Bob in your email soon too. Edited by: lovethiscandle

Will this be changed on all the websites or just those in the certain restricted states?

To me this new title is a bit deceiving. It says to me that customers get "something" freebie or whatever for a certain purchase or something.

I have never heard of the regulations in certain states that they mention. Of course I am no guru on that either.

I am wondering how every other online retailer gets around this?? Millions of websites have "online stores".

Did they give an explaination??
