OK...picking your brains/opinions again!! Sorry, but this is a hard decision!
Charmed Moments has nice things! BesidesTONS of charms (dangles and Italian) they also have nice necklaces, bracelets, anklets, earrings, watches....and things for kids ...and men even! In my opinion the Italian charms are kind of going out......or am I wrong? BUT, I think the dangle charms are kind of coming back in. Has anybody been to one of their parties and/or seen their pieces?
OR.....do you think it would be best to just go with jewelry.....such as Joielle, Latasia.....or something of that sort.
I feel that Charmed Moments is good because I think people would have a ball putting their memories into a charm bracelet .....whether it be for themselves or a gift. But if not........they stillhave the opportunity topurchase just regular jewelry also!!(What the heck happened to my writing here?? LOL!)
So.......I am split.......regular jewelry only or charms also!?smileys/smiley5.gif
Please do give me your opinions!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!
Annette

Don't get our opinions. We don't matter.
1.) Which jewelry would you wear most?
2.) how are the growth patterns for the companies. If they are less then 5 years old, how many consultants are they gaining each year? how are sales increasing?
3.) Look at where you live. What do people enjoy? Is there a diverse group, meaning anything goes if you market it, or are they stuck in their ways, meaning if they reject it, you won't take it further. (I say you won't because you can make a business happen, I've seen some amazing things where a branch doesn't take off, then the right person comes a long and suddenly their biz is hot!)
4.) Which one gives you warm fuzzies?
5.) Which one would allow you to have more fun workshops? How can you make it stand-out?
6.) How does each biz fit into your passion.
Best of luck!
Debbie

Annette, of course I want to tell you to come over to Latasia because of the amazing experience I have had with them in just a couple short months.
BUT more than anything, you need to go with your gut. To me, if I'm presented too many choices I freeze and never stop second guessing myself. There has to be one or two companies that have done what Debbie mentioned, made your heart go pitter patter. I would take those companies and pray about it and go where your heart leads. You definitely sound like you have a passion for the jewelry industry and I think whatever company you choose is going to be blessed to have you. But I do feel like if you keep looking for companies and finding new ones that you are going to overwhelm yourself and maybe miss out on some awesome details with your first fav companies that may make the difference for you. I'm not saying research is wrong, by any means. But I think if you fill your head with too many details at once that it will be easy to lose track of who has what to offer and end up overwhelmed and aggravated at deciding who to go with. This is a fun business and if you go with your heart you won't go wrong.
I hope that made sense. And if you are a person that can keep up with all the details of 15 companies and not get them confused and get overwhelmed then ignore all that I said up there, LOL. Except for the go with your heart part.
I wish you all the best and I know that when you do get started you'll be blessed and a blessing to others.

No......you're right! It is sooooo easy to get overwhelmed! The thing is is that I can find good and bad with all companies products. I can find good and bad with all companies business plans.....etc. OR.....I find one company that I love the products, but the business plan stinks, or the hostess benefits are not very good or they have to come out of the hostesses profits. Then you find companies that sound and look great, but they are young and not well known. Do I want to have to go through that growing period also?
I totally understand what both of you have said above....TOTALLY!
I will just have to narrow it down (I THINK I already did!??!smileys/smiley5.gif) and then just go with what feels the best to me!
Thanks!

BUT...........I still do want opinions on the "charm" thing!! Do you all think the Italian charms are going out? Do you think the dangle charms are coming back?

OH, LOL, sorry about missing that part, the WHOLE POINT of your post!! Honestly, I haven't the faintest. I wasn't looking at a jewelry company when the Lord brought me Latasia so obviously I wasn't into the trends of jewelry. I know that we have a couple bracelets that have some charm-looks to them and we have a new catty coming out at the end of July, beginning of August and I don't really know what it might have in it.I do know that the owners of Latasia just got back from researching jewelry trends in Paris and said that our line coming out is right along with what's big over there for the upcoming season. Now, if that means we are going to have charms and dangle charms, I don't know.
Wish I could help you there. I notice jewelry on everyone now that I sell it and I haven't seen many of the charm type things on anyone around here if that helps. Of course, I live in the country(extremely rural Louisiana)so that might not be your demographic for where you live.
P.S. Have you spoken to anyone specifically about Latasia? If not, I would love to help you find out all the details about us, not to recruit you but to help you get all the info you need to compare. (not that I wouldn't LOVE to haveyou on my team,Ijustwant you to know that I'll be glad to help you) I think you'd be amazed, I know I was.

My opinion is yes, dangle charms are back. I saw one yesterday, very classy.
However, it is and always will be a fad. So, if you like the charms, what else does the company have to offer? Does the company grow and change with the time?
Best of luck! And follow your heart,
Debbie

I personally don't like charms. I just don't like dangles hanging off my wrist. Again, personal preference. I sell lia sophia jewelry and we have 2 charm bracelets in our current catalog. I have not yetsold one of those bracelets. I do most of my business around Reading, PA and surrounding communitites. I don't know how that translates to your area, but that is just my observations around here.
I hope you find a company that works well for you! Best of luck.
P.S. If you have any questions about lia sophia give me a yell. smileys/smiley2.gif

I definetly think the italian charms are out of style. I never see anyone wearing or selling them anymore. I love the dangle charms and notice alot of people in my area wearing them.

I checked out Charmed Moments and it seems like they have a nice, diverse catalog. With scrapbook charms, you could have a scrapbook party, the have non-dangling charms, and jewelry that stands on its own. The nice thing about this over another jewelry company is that people might continue to buy from you for all occasions as gifts to add to their original gift. =} It creates an easy way to do follow-up - you can call people in the spring to see if they have any Confirmations, First Communions, or Graduations coming up. You can keep note of birthdays and ask people if they want a new charm for their granddaughter's birthday, or whatever. I know you can do this with other companies, but I think charms especially lend themself to this sort of marketing. You could even offer a reminder service - contact folks a month or so before special occasions to see if they'll want a charm to commemorate the event, or as a gift.

I think charms are great. Especially if it is something that reminds you of something.
Beading is really hot in my area. I decided on Ditybeads and have been a consultant for a month now. I love making the jewelry and I love wearing it. I chose Ditybeads because it is what interested me and something that I enjoyed.
Good luck on making your decision...I know it is hard!!
