Sorry, none. What type of business are you looking for?

We were in Amway many years ago. Mainly bought product for our own use and was active for a very short period of time.

A friend of the family was in Amway a long time ago...we bought a few things from them, but never got into the business. Were you looking into becoming a rep with them?

Yes, I'm toying with the idea. I need some income to supplement my day job and I thought it would be something m,y whole family could get involved in.

I wish I could help, but I don't know anyone who is currently in Amway. Try doing a search on the board, maybe you find a rep that way.

Although many of the products are good, It's a difficult business to work.

I know several people that "used" to be with Amway but have since move on to other companies. It seems like Amway was their starter company then they left for a better fit.
If are interested in network marketing, you can go to the npros site and search by category. You might find a better fit for yourself.
Have fun :)

My brother and his wife have been in the Amway business for at least 6 years. They are very dedicated but I don't know how well they are doing. I think it's a little simpler if you focus your efforts on a particular Amway product (beauty products, supplements, whatever) as your "niche". It's a process of building and can take some time, like most marketing companies.

Amway has been around for many years. I don't know anyone who is involved with Amway but perhaps you will find them here. Some key things to consider when evaluating a business:
Is the product consumable and something people could not easily find in stores? Does it appeal to all segments of the population, young and old?
Is the company solid with great leadership and the science to back up the products?
Are there sign-up fees?
How much inventory are you required to stock?
Is there support and free training included?
Are there free marketing tools such as a free website?
Is the business model simple enough that it can be duplicated by people you share it with?
Can you do the business with anyone around the world now or in the future?
Good luck with your research and finding the best fir for you:)

An acquaintance of mine used to be with Amway and she end up giving it up. She did not make any money. Having said that, everyone's different. She did not make any money but it does not mean that you won't make any.

I took a look at Amway awhile ago and chose to go another route for several reasons. The few people I know that have tried it found it difficult. The questions posted in the other reply, is there free training, do they provide free marketing tools, how much product do you have to stock...these are very important.
If you are interested in looking at something other than Amway, I can send you information about it. It is something the whle family can do and may fit what you are looking for.

I'm currently in Amway mainly for buying products for my own use.
I've been with other network marketing companies in the past few years (I joined simply to show my support for my good friends. Ya I'm a nice lady! LOL!), I already used many products and so far I like Amway's the most. Their product quality is really topnotch. Amway is one of the oldest network marketing companies out there so there's no doubt about its integrity. It certainly is not a fly by night company. With more than 800 patents granted, and more than 600 patents pending, you can easily see Amway is a truly powerful and wealthy company.
They do provide you with free training materials and free website. You pay $62 every year to keep your membership. There's no monthly maintenance, no auto ship required. Whether it's an easy business to run depends on each person. I've met and heard some success stories of several new Amway Reps who're doing quite well in less than a year with Amway. They are people from all walks of life: successful business people, regular office workers, stay at home moms, even young kids in their late teen and early twenties! One of them I met a few months ago was a young kid from San Francisco (He's only 21 years old), who's been with Amway for only 9 months now and has been making a nice income every month since his month 2 with Amway. I also met others who are still not making much all those years in their Amway journeys... I found the reasons those people won't quit were that they truely like the company and its products A LOT! For me it is not a quick way to make money so I think I'll remain as a a happy customer for now.

I have a number of friends that have tried Amway...none of them that I am aware of made much (if any) money. We owe alot to Amway... they really cut the trail in educating people on the possibilities of MLM. I believe they even had to fight for our rights to legally work this type of business. It is quite impressive they are still around.

I was with Amway for 2.5years and loved it. My problem was they charge shipping and when you are shipping liters of shampoo or SA8 laundry detergent... the weight could almost double the amount I had to charge my customers.
I think their SA8 laundry soap is the best I have ever used. EVER
I had trouble keeping a customer base with them tho due to shipping costs.
I made a very good income selling Artistry (their top end cosmetic line).
It is a good, solid, reliable company - but for me it ended up not being the perfect fit.

I had a friend who was with Amway. He did a lot of presentations and was doing okay. Not sure why he stopped doing the business.
My brother-in-law joined by in 2004, but stopped their program because he wasn't buying the products.
Growing up, my parents used a lot of Amway products purchased from a family friend.

Hello!
We have been in Amway for four years! We love it! They have made it extremely easy to make $ now. You don't have to build a "downline." You can simply sell products you love and there are so many products now.
I would highly recommend it.
Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.:)
