Many schools require completion of summer homework during summer break (required reading, math packets, etc.) What is your families routine to complete summer homework?

My son will be going into the 10th grade this fall. He's already received his reading packet from school. He had a bit of a struggle this year with math {although he passed the Regents and Final exams}, so he is attending a summer program in the morning. Then in the afternoon he is free to go swimming and attend his martial arts class. He is also working on his Rosetta Stone this summer to prepare for his language class in September. I like for him to be busy in the morning with academics but free in the afternoon to enjoy outside activities.
That's pretty much his routine this summer.
