Not sure if this has been asked here but here goes...
When products go on sale, like this month's Show of Hands Instant Manicure, do you sell them at the sale price for your clients or just use the sale price yourself to make a bigger profit?
I have always still sold the productsat their regular retail cost but it got me thinking about what other people do and if you extend the sales to clients???
Thanks in advance~~

Sometimes I do give the clients the sale price, especially if it is a reorder. I have given sale prices at a couple of my spa's but it didn't seem to make that big of a difference to the ladies there. Last year they did a really big sale on micro derm abrasion...... it was I think 40% off....so at a spa I offered it at 30% off.....only sold 2.......I had bought 10!!! at the sale price. When I offered the Margarita line at a sale price I did pretty good.....4 out of 6 clients at the spa bought a set. Do what you can do, if you can afford to give a little discount always do it on the sale items!!!

I have wondered about this too. I have always sold it at the regular price so I make a bigger profit.

I have been selling it at regular price most of the time. When I get my business more established and start getting more commission, I will probably start passing some of the discounts on to my clients. Right now I need the bigger profit.
