Hi there!

My name is Angie and I am new to the forum and just started my
BeautiControl business about a month ago. I just graduated from BeautiU
this past weekend. I love this opportunity so much!! I have had two
parties so far, but don't have any bookings for May yet.

I haven't yet been able to recruit anyone or book a party at a Spa. My sales have been good though. Any advice?

Thanks!

I have started a blog about my BeautiControl experiences. Here is the web address:

you will have to highlight and copy and paste it into the address bar.

Angie,

Welcome to the message board and BeautiControl! This is a great place to get advice and support for your business.

Glad to hear that your sales are good! As far as getting more spa parties on your calendar, ask those who need some relaxation the most. Hold a spa party in honor of Mother's Day.

Recruits will come! Share the opportunity and the magazine that features BeautiControl. That is going to be an awesome tool for May!

Good luck in your business. I wish you much success!

Thank you, Vicki for your prompt response! I have been really
challenging myself to move out of my comfort zone and strike up
conversations with everyone I know. I even booked a party with the
office girl at my obgyn's office! Unfortunately, she canceled the party
and I have not been able to get her to reschedule.

I am doing a radio sponsored event on Wednesday with another consultant
to offer some samples and hopefully get some names for potential
bookings. I am also the "business of the month" at a local Curves
location. I get to set up a display table with product samples and a
drawing for the entire month of May!!. I thought I would give away the
spa starter kit.

I am hoping to get some good leads through these two prospects.

I logged on to check my email and my box was getting pretty full! So you caught me at a great time.

Sounds like you are doing all the right things. Just keep checking back with the girl at your Doctor's office.

I had one cancel after rescheduling 3 times. Couldn't get her schedule to slow down! She wants to book in August right before school starts. So you never know what the obstacle is for her. Doesn't it seem like time is going faster these days? Or is it just me getting older? LOL

I wish you much success in your upcoming events! It is great to hear that you are willing to come out of your comfort zone. Some of us are still working on that.
