Shawn,

When does he leave? We have a nephew over there now. I think he gets to come home in August for 2 weeks on leave. He will be over there a total of 13 months or longer. We are getting ready to send him a big care package!

Vicki,

As of right now, he leaves sometime near the end of June. You know that could change a zillion times before then! He knows it's his job and he's chosen it, but it's still tough. At least we've been through it and know what to expect.

I will keep your nephew in my prayers as I do all the men and women in service around the globe. It is so cool that you are sending him a big care package. My husband has already said I need to keep him stocked up on Brown Sugar Scrub (he shaves his head and this really moisturizes it..he also loves the scent), Men's Warming Shave Gel, Lip Balm, and I am going to keep him stocked up on Cell Block-C and the SPF Booster. They don't realize the damage they are doing to their skin when they are there! Thanks for asking..sorry to get off on that tangent LOL!

Shawn,

We will keep him in our prayers too. I don't want to be political, but let's hope they all can come home soon and stay home!

Amen to that, Vicki. I can't wait for everyone to come home safely and be back with their families. Thanks for your prayers!
