DriverGuide Now Hiring
Opportunities available at DriverGuide.com

We get a large number of people applying for these positions, so please understand that we are generally not able to respond to all those who write in.

PHP Developer/Programmer
We are looking for a PHP coder to help with site development/debugging/etc. Should be based in Los Angeles, CA (if you possess extremely relevant skills/knowledge then we might consider you if you live elsewhere). You would be able to work from home much of the time, except where projects demanded more interactivity. You would also need to attend weekly meetings, etc. The position would likely start off as part time but could quickly become full time. You should be experienced with PHP (2+ years). You must know what you're doing and be able to work with our existing code as well as develop new code. We are also ideally looking for someone with some system administration experience (especially with RedHat Linux boxes) as we have many scripts which help manage our infrastructure. Please send a description of your qualifications, and fee requirements. Should live in Los Angeles, CA area.

Graphic Designer
We're looking for resource(s) for ongoing help with our site. Our site's overall design is under control, we've got a firm redoing that. What we need is a resource to help us with integrating/adjusting that design, help us create new designs for new features we plan to launch, help creating advertisements for our products/features/offers/etc. (in other words, everything from full pages to banners/buttons/etc.).
We'll need different things at different times, so we're looking to find someone we can pass work to as we need things. Initially we might need a few weeks at 15-20 hours per week, eventually settling down to 3-10 hours a week. We're looking for someone local to us (west side of Los Angeles). Almost all work you can do off site, but sometimes face-to-face communication is most productive. We need someone who can be fairly responsive, someone available by IM/email/phone, someone who can deliver on our requests pretty quickly, within 24 hours in many cases (for banners, buttons, etc.). We need someone who can take direction, our taste may differ from yours, and while we're open to new ideas, you'll need to understand/deliver what we ultimately are convinced we want. You must be well versed in HTML/CSS/etc., not just Photoshop/etc. Please send a description of your qualifications, and fee requirements. Must live in Los Angeles, CA area.

Database Helpers
We are looking for people to assist in populating and updating our databases of manufacturer and device driver information. Strong knowledge of PC hardware and experience with device drivers is required. Part time position, work in your spare time. Please send a description of your qualifications, and fee requirements. Must live in US or Canada.
