Hi everyone! I'm very excited to show you my stuff!
Back in March, I published my first quilt pattern called Monkeying Around. It's an applique pattern based on the Five Little Monkeys song. It is a fat quarter quilt in your choice of 5 sizes, and has four jumping monkeys, and one with a bump on his head (the monkeys are sized to fit on the twin size). I looked for a quilt pattern that told the story of the song, but there wasn't one. So I took it upon myself to fill the void! And I'm even more excited about the next part. I am designing coordinating fabrics as well! I am working with Spoonflower.com to produce a line of fabrics using these monkeys. The first is complete and ready to be viewed, although I haven't approved it for sale yet (I should have a fabric sample in my hands to approve within the next week). I have a second fabric design drawn and ready to be colored, I hope to have it completed next week sometime, if not sooner.
I'm very excited to be able to add Quilt Designer, Self-Published Author and Independent Fabric Designer to my resume!
