Iuse the Re9 masqueand neverused the "old" Thermal Fusion masque. Someone at my party today asked what the difference wasand whytheAI TFcosts $32 and the Re9 $26?

What is the main difference in the 2 products and which one would you recommend for different skin types/ages? Iread that the New AI TF Masque is a scrub and masque in one but other than that I could use some advice/comments from those of you that have used the 2 products.

TIA!

Hi, I don't have an answer for you...just giving ya a bump smileys/smiley2.gif

For us new girls...in a situation like that where you are uncertain of the answer; how do you handle that...just tell them you are not sure and that you will look it up and get back with them?

I told them whatcan beread in the catalog that the Thermal Fusion is a scrub and masque in one while the Re9 is just a masque. Yes, I told them I could find out more but in this case, she went ahead and bought the RE9 masque because that is the one I use and was able to recommend.

The RE9 is a clay masque that helps clarify skin and deep clean the pores. It contains the RE9 anti-aging ingredients.

The TF masque is like a chemical peel (except it uses natural enzymes). It peels away dry, dead skin cells and smooths out fine lines. The enzymes activate with water and the skin will get very warm and turn bright red. They combined it with walnut shell powder to be like a microdermabrasion product. <!--

The RE9 masque is very hydrating as well. It seems to me, anyone can use
it. The thermal fusion is great, but it's not for very sensitive skin. In
addition, the TF should only be used at night since it may cause redness for
two hours.

While we're on this topic, how often are people using the TF? It's called
"Step 2" in the Intelligence set, but I don't think it's truly Step 2, because you
can't use it in the morning and I believe it should be used only two or three
times a week. Any other feelings/knowledge about this?

Thanks for the responses, this is exactly the information I was hoping to get.

I have used the old TF 5 days a week. I know some people with acne who use it everyday. I think it depends on your skin. Some people probably could use it as step 2 ... I always used the old TF in the morning because I don't have anywhere to be smileys/smiley36.gif, plus my face doesn't stay red for long. I'll have to see about the new product, though. I can't wait to try it! <!--

I find the new TF does not get as red as the old one so I have been using it in the morning.

I think the redness depends on the person. A friend of mine tried it at NTC.
She actually tried it twice and each time she was as red as a beet. We
thought it was so funny we took pictures. Overall, that's a warning not to
use it during the day unless you know how your skin reacts. I personally
hardly have any redness.

I just noticed the catalog says not to use on sensitive/acne blemishes. That would explain the redness issue but not sure about the acne?
