Just wondering what you would buy. (Yes...I am still searching!)

Jewelry that catches your eye, looks nice, but the quality isn't the greatest.......BUT it costs less. (Prices from $5.00 to $40.00 or so)

OR

Jewelry that once again catches youreye and looks wonderful! Quality is VERY good, but the prices are a little more. ($5.00 to $80.00)

Which would your prefer if you were a customer/hostess?

I believe you get what you pay for, but I have never done jewelry as a business so I don't know what people like more......price or quality!?

Thanks Gals (Guys too!)

Annette-

I can't help here. For me, it's got to be real, and it has to have sentimental value. Otherwise, I won't buy it, except sometimes earrings.

I'm not a jewelry chick.

Sorry.

Well I guess I'm in the second category with Latasia. Our quality is wonderful. Our pieces are stunning. I also found out that our owner, who has been in the jewelry manufacturing biz for over 30 years still sends several lines to Dillards, Belks, Penny's, the larger department stores and before he bought Latasia he was also a manufacturer for all the other jewelry party plans. So he knows his prices and quality. I think Latasia has their bases covered as far as price and quality go, we are very affordable but our jewelry is backed by such a great guarantee that you know the quality is awesome or they couldn't afford to cover it so strongly with the guarantee.

Hope you find a company you love!! Keep us updated!!

I personally like the mid line products and of course the expensive stuff when someone else buys - My friend and I sell two different lines of jewlery - we have identical pieces - completely identical - hers costs about 40.00 more per piece - so I prefer mine - since they are the same quality - but I dont like the really cheap stuff - like you find that turns your body green - unless it's just a fun one time piece -

I've been really happy with what I have purchased through my company so far - nothing has been junk at all even though really really reasonable some time and I get compliments daily :)

So I do LOVE quality - and especially if I can get it at a reasonable price

Well, I'm in the minority. If I like the jewlery and it's reasonably priced I'll buy it. But by reasonable, I mean pretty cheap. I love Lia Sophia style, but not prices. Love Just Jewelry prices but not many styles and same with Cookie Lee. LOVE!!! Silpada, but wish they were much cheaper. But I also buy from Avon too. So it just depends for me on if it's affordable and I like it.

I'm with Lisa, if I like it and it's reasonably priced I'll buy it.

I love Latasia jewelry! It fits both of my criterias. The company was great also. I talked to the vice president who was fantastic.

Cookie Lee I loved in the catalog but not when I saw it in person!

Well, I must say before I joined lia sophia I thought they were rather expensive. Until I found out the customer save plan buy 2 @ regular price get the 3rd(most expensive) item @ 1/2 off and then monthly specials, this month is spend $50 and get up to 3 slides/pins @ 1/2 off and of course you can combine both specials. I spent $150 at my 1st show as a customer. So it is very affordable when you use the specials. Then when I found out I have a LIFETIME GUARANTEE as long as I own the piece I was forever hooked.

Also, the quality and variety are outstanding. There is something for everyone. I used to say I would only wear the "real" thing before but I am now a convert. If I only bought the "real" thing I would only have a few pieces because that would be all I could afford.

That's why I chose lia sophia and I have more pieces then I can imagine, lots of variety from gold/rhodium plated, cut crystals and gemstones, and the best quality w/ a LIFETIME GUARANTEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Krystal,

Yes, she was amazing! Then again everyone was so helpful and pleasant! I thought the hostess plan was outstanding and so is the comp plan!

The only reason I didn't joinis thatI am following a different passion right now!

Ooops didn't mean to turn this into a Latasia thread! lol

Thanks for the opinions ladies.......I really appreciate it!smileys/smiley17.gif

I was actually checking into Cookie Lee and Azante. Those are the two companies I was describing in the poll. I LOVEthe Azante jewelry....reminds me of Silpada, but yet a little different.(And not quite as expensive!) Quality jewelry! They are based in my home state.... That is very nice also! I am really impressed by theirbusiness plantoo.

Cookie Lee has alot of nice things, but I think some of it looks like it could fall apart, some just looks cheap. They make a good profit, but the consultants also have to cover their own hostess benefits. Also seems like they have to participate in a lot of meetings and such.

If you haven't seen Azante jewelry........please check it out at www.azantejewelry.com (http://www.azantejewelry.com) and let me know what you think!

Thanks again!

I'm with Debbie... I'm only a fan of high quality jewelry, and for the most part I prefer gold over silver. Personally, the only direct sales jewelry company I've found whose products I really love is Premier Designs (http://www.premierdesigns.com/). The start-up cost will make you gasp, but the products are simply incredible... in the catalog AND in person!

Blessings,

Christy

Id rather spend a little more money for an item
& have it last!

I like a lot of Lia Sophia pieces. They have a nice variety to pick from. And I like Silpada because they carrysterling. However, in my opinion, you can shop QVC or HSN and get the realthing (sterling, 14k gold, semi-precious gems)for the same price, and in some cases, even cheaper.

I like high quality jewelry and barely ever buy it, I have a few special pieces that are really "me" that I have collected over the years. When I do buy though, it has to be for an incredible price!! I won't pay top dollar. So, I guess if I were at a party, I'd be looking for a good deal AND quality! smileys/smiley1.gif

Best of luck in whatever you choose.

(love that Joielle site listed above! Beautiful!)

Edited to add that by "good deal" I would probably be looking to spend under $30 for something spectacular!Edited by: nhgirl

I voted but I am biased because I am a SD Rep. I also have purchased Cookie Lee. I Like the catalog for Latasia. I looked at Azante and Joielle before becoming a SD rep. I am basically a Jewelry addict. For me it is value and quality combined.

That's what I figured.........just wasn't for sure! I like their things..even have a few pieces, but I think there are too many people around here in that. :(

Where are you from? If you like SS then I would recommend Azante and Joielle. Cheri from Azante is super nice. Good Luck!!
