I have been writing for Textbroker on and off for a while now. The work pays well esp b/c I'm at level 4, but it's hard for me to want to actually sit down and write.... Any specific job suggestions for me?
-I want to earn enough to supplement my husband's income, not looking to be the sole provider, but things are really tight right now so I need something fast!
-I want my hourly wage to be worth it enough to want to sit and work- not something so menial and low paying, not a time waster
-I want to do something that I'll look forward to- I think the writing from scratch is a little too much "brain drain" for me as a mom with many responsibilities.... I just feel like I'm not always motivated to write. The skills are there but not the interest.
-I do not want to do work that involves phone calling.
-Something that pays Paypal would be the best

I write well, proofread (but no official past experience), and am great with internet research. I would prefer to hear about companies that actively hire, not those with a waiting list. Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you considered search engine evaluator (see Google rater thread), pays hourly but you are an IC. Payment is by check. For payment by paypal this would mostly be through companies like ODesk, Microworkers, etc. If those don't work all you can do is keep checking the leads for other non-phone jobs. Best wishes.

Technical Writing is also a growing work at home field. Might be worth checking out.

I understand your frustration. The best solution might be to land a job with one of the major content creation companies that pay more. I don't know what level 4 pays at Textbroker. Some companies pay between $10 to $15 per article to write on a variety of topics that you don't have to "write from scratch." They also provide lots of titles to write on a continual basis, so you can write as much or as little as you want (although some sites do require you to write a minimum amount per month).

It's possible to make $2,000 per month at least this way, plus you can apply to be an editor once you establish yourself as a writer.
