Did anyone find anything out about this? They sent me the information to start making calls, but they make you do a w9 form and I am weary about giving out my social

I haven't put in anything in about this job, but interested to hear how others do with it :)

Like I said, I am very afraid to submit my social in the W9. The emails seem friendly, and the pay seems great. But I have some issues. The company names in the documents don't match up and neither do my "advisor" names. It all seems a bit scary. I want to do it if it is legit, but I am afraid to give out my info.

I have not sent my W9 to them (I was going to send an EIN number instead of my SS) but I already was given 2 different names for managers, repeat documents (as in one of the training documents was very long but that was because there were two copies of it), leads to call, and told not to worry about the W9 but go ahead and start working.

So I made some of the calls. now I know you're going to get a lot of nos. But I was given leads that were disconnected, wrong business, a residence, and some very irritated people who don't use credit or debit cards and don't want to. If they don't use you're supposed to do another script but no one listened; they hung up.

I guess for some this would be great. But it's not a good fit for me and something just feels off. And yeah - company names were not matching up and I saw lots of errors. Except instead of accept for example. Once ok, error. But more than that? Just didn't seem professional. So, this is not something I will be doing after all.

I agree. There were also A LOT of typos and "slang" being used. I don't think I will respond to any more of these emails either.

I tried it out today and I thought the exact same thing. After calling like five businesses, I knew this was going no where. With that script, it is a miracle if you even get to the owner.

All of the posts about this company are true. They tell you that you are not selling anything, but I would like to know what I was doing then? It sure felt like I was. I got all the signs that a telemarketer would get. It was horrible as the person described above. The sucky part is the fact that all the calls and time spent working are done in vain, if you do not get the 5-10 leads. What this company fails to mention is the fact, that the sales person has to get the lead to sign-up for the program in order for you to get the $50.00. The PA does not get $50.00 if the sales person does not make that sale. This position was a big waste of time and the company should consider telling the truth.

Here's another thing to keep in mind: you only get that $50 IF the sales agent gets the merchant to buy a full package. If they buy something like a mobile unit then you just get $25. Ok..fine. Thing is, you have no way of knowing what merchants do or do not get that full unit. You could end up being paid half of what you should be and never know it since you aren't the one signing anyone.
