I know we talk about mineral oil possibly being occlusive and that those in the medical profession don't use mineral oil with latex. However, I can't find anything on the corporate website that speaks to that point. Can someone direct me the section that addresses that?

TIA

I don't believe there is anything on the arbonne website that states this.

This is on Sandra Tillinghasts website, in talking to plastic surgeons/doctors section. I had it printed off for reference a long time ago. I have never looked on the official arbonne site for info like this, they usually don't have stuff like it:

Ref: 29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(3)(ix) OSHA
RE: Use of Petrolatum-containing products with latex gloves
It was brought to OSHA’s attention that significant deterioration of latex gloves was noted when exposed to petroleum-based lubricants. (See Federal Register 64119, December 6,1991). Therefore, if latex gloves are used, employees shall not apply petroleum-based, including mineral oil-based, skin care products.

For some reason I'm having problems accessing the 'Internet Consultants' section of Arb****.com; however I thought there was an official Arb**** stance on mineral oil under product knowledge somewhere. Once I can access this section again - I can be more specific, but that's a good place to start looking....

Candace said that despite all of the claaims made regarding mineral oil, Arbonne's stance is that we choose to use alternative oils that are more beneficial to our skin. I can't remember her exact verbiage but she was telling us not to bash or use scare tactics, just go on the wonderful merits of our products.
