Have some time during the day? Doing some mystery shops or other various jobs where you spend 10-30 minutes doing a job and want more to fill in your day? Check out court research JBS!

A court researcher is someone that visits the local courthouse, collecting information. This information is public data, and is usually found on a computer in a research area. If you've never done court research, you probably don't even realize these areas exist as they are typically in another room or behind a door in the court office.

Court researchers are paid on a per record basis. A decent researcher can earn between $8-15/hr based on your speed of typing. There usually aren't thousands of records, so your visit may be from 30-60 minutes once every 2-4 weeks. Combined with your other jobs, this is an excellent filler!

For more information, please check out the website at Welcome to JBS (http://www.work4jbs.com)

JBS has been in business since 2006 and serves clients in 42 states

Anyone else work for this company? Sounds really good. Just wondering how many hours a week I could get...that is after I get a lap top. I could do two or three counties.

probably 1-2 hrs a month depending on your county size. This is best when mixing it with other merchandising and mystery shop jobs. That's what I do to fill in the day, it's just one of many lined up in the schedule.

Are the Rhode Island counties still available? My husband is experienced in this and he keeps applying, but hasn't heard anything. It says Rhode Island is available on the website.

If you haven't heard from them, I'd recommend e-mailing them. The gal who is doing the application follow ups did just move back to Texas a week ago to prepare for her husband's return from Iraq, so she might be trying to get all settled in before getting back into the relm of following up on applications. She's got a little one, too. Her husband was just here from Iraq on R&R right before they went back to Texas, little one took it rather hard.

But..e-mail is always the best way to follow up if you haven't heard anything. I can't answer your questions about the actual availability, I don't have anything to do with the operations. I post the ads for them on here once in a while, they continue to pay for the web hosting for my kidsjellybean.com website!

Business opportunity? That's a new one..Court research must have perked some scammers ears up finally. Just when you think something is safe from them..OOOO, I think I know what you're talking about, I did see something like that a couple years ago somewhere. I don't remember anything about it except that it was like $59 to "register" or whatever.
