I gotta know... And please dont take it the wrong way, I'm not trying to be a naysayer-- but how does anyone make any money this way? Do people actually buy things from telemarketers? Because I can't remember a time when I let one of those poor souls utter one complete sentence to me...
I'm interested in doing this kind of work so I just want to know. Are there actually people out there who would agree to an appointment because a stranger called and asked them to? Or buy a vacation package?

The only Appointment setting I have ever done is NOT COLD CALLING. I dont think I could do it. I use to set appointments for a company. It was 10.00 per appointment set. However the people I called had put their names in a drawing, so they were expecting a call.
I made good money with that company.

I am starting a new job appointment setting. It is with a different kind of company. However it is NOT COLD CALLING either. I get so many no's when they know you are gonna call. So I could never sign up for flat out cold calling.

But lost of reps do B2B cold calling. I just couldn't do it.

Warm leads are doable in my book. But you have to expect to get only about one yes an hour,. So...it is hard work. But if they pay out is right, you can make good money with that one yes.

Have a good day:o
