I am going to list a number of companies that will hire employees to work from home. I have done a lot of research while searching for a wahm job and I just want to share my findings.

First off I would like to recommend Home-based Agent Customer Care Solutions, Home Agent Results ? West at Home (http://www.westathome.com) I worked for them for about 8 months. I loved working for them. The staff is great and kept me informed with any new details about the company. There are no fees to pay, I do think there was a background for 19.95. The pay was not that great but there were always incentives and the option to pick up extra hours. I was always paid on time via direct deposit. You are paid minimum wage for training. You can work anywhere from 20-60 hrs per week and you are paid overtime. I stopped working for them because I did not like the new skill I was assigned.

I was recently hired by Sutherland (http://www.sutherland.com) and I begin training on Monday. I will be making 8.50/hr for training and 10/hr once in production. I am excited about this opportunity. I was also hired by convergys (http://www.convergys.com) and was suppose to start a few days ago but my headset did not come in time.

Here are a few companies that are legit and will hire to work at home....

Contact Center Software and Call Center Outsourcing from LiveOps (http://www.liveops.com)

Arise Virtual Solutions - Homeshoring Provider - Your own work-at home business (http://www.arise.com)

Customer Service, Virtual Call Center Consulting, Work From Home, Alpine Access (http://www.alpineaccess.com)

Working Solutions - Agent and Technology Contact Center Solutions (http://www.workingsolutions.com)

Call Centers (http://www.talk2rep.com)

Verafast.com (http://www.verafast.com)

Workforce Management Solutions | Kelly Services - Home (http://www.kellyservices.com)

Tempibaby22, yes thanks for taking the time to post and give your review comments. You might want to cross check against the list that's stickied at the top of the Telecommuting Moms page. There are oh I don't know, maybe more than 100 companies there.

WOW...thank you, great leads.
Which would you recommend to a first timer?
Are the hours flexible?

Thanks!

I would definitely recommed West at Home for anyone who has not worked from home before. With West the hours were very flexible. I could work the day shift one day and the evening shift the next. All employees work a minimum of 20 hours per week and you make your own schedule. Most of the skills that are offered start as early as 8am and end around 10pm. Some of the skills are temp but they will let you know that and once a skill has ended they will set up training for a new skill. They make sure the current employees are working on a skill at all times. The longest I was not working on anything was 3 days.

Thank you so much for taking the time to create this list! It's one thing to have a list of work at home companies, but it's even better to have a list recommended by someone who's actually used these companies. Thanks! What a great place to start!
