Job Description:
BizDeals is a B2B group buying startup providing curated product and service offers from major brands to the small businesses in a unique and engaging online format.
We are looking for a part-time Copywriter to produce content for our weekly product and service offers, email campaigns, and overall feel of our site. Your goal will be to produce content that drives sales, sign-ups, and referrals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create copy for weekly B2B products and services targeted at small businesses (copy needs to be brief, insightful, professional, but entertaining). Three to six new offers weekly.
Develop compelling email copy to motivate prospect database to join the BizDeals community and drive traffic to our site
Construct winning banner copy
Recommend copy tests to continuously improve conversion rates across all channels
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years copywriting experience required
Proficiency in the ecommerce space and copywriting best practices
Bachelor's degree, English or Journalism preferred
Entrepreneurial, whatever-it-takes attitude
Flexible work style
Excellent time management skills
Ability to balance competing priorities
Comfortable working as part of a growing team
